Folk Alliance (North American Folk Music and Dance Alliance): A grassroots organization providing networking opportunities for those in the folk arts industry as well as advocacy efforts tackling issues important to the folk arts community. The annual conference is a wonderful opportunity to attend showcases of performances by artists from all over the globe as well as meet with other presenters, folk djs and performers to learn and grow as professionals.
